Goemaï Paris: Sailing’s urban sport couture

Founded by Belgian designer Inès Martens in 2009, Goemaï Paris remains a sought after sailing brand that weaves the latest tech into its luxurious new-age neoprene.

Here, we share the final shots from our morning shoot with the brand in Cannes.

Produced in top French ateliers using a cutting-edge knitting technique, you’ll find Goemaï Paris worn by much of the sailing market – from luxury crew uniforms to private yacht owners, the Cannes Yachting Festival, yacht brands and charter service providers.

And it’s not only the sleek lines and superb feminine tailoring that has these clients hooked! After collaborating with several textile experts, a softer, multi-layered, lightweight neoprene was created specifically for Goemaï Paris to replace the more rubbery neoprene that had traditionally been used to create women’s sailing wear.

Made-to-order and on-demand custom creations are further reasons why Goemaï Paris remains the go-to in urban sail and surf couture.
